Symptoms BEFORE diagnosis

Hello, I had pain and a feeling of not finishing going to the bathroom. Blood and an obvious lump. I would get an upset stomach. Pencil thin stools. Urgency. I think I covered it. I know others responded already in a different thread of yours. Look at your discussions and I'll bet you'll find them. I wish you well. Lori0 -

I actually had no symptoms except for a very small amount of blood that appeared 4 times over the course of six weeks or so. The fourth time I saw it I went to the doctor and from there the diagonsis.

symptoms before dx
After my Dr. mentioned the urgency, feeling you were not done, and thin flat stool, I realized this had been occurring for a while. I had not paid attention prior to him mentioning it. I was dx after being thrown from my horse and had bleeding after bm.0 -
Symptoms
I had some bleeding and found a hard lump while showering. I am about to start treatment this week. If you have any concerns at all please make an appointment and have it checked thoroughly. I hope for you that it is not anything serious but if it is we are here.0 -

I have no bleeding and I don't see/feel any lumps. I just have intense itching and sometimes the urge to have BM when nothing. I have an appt. with my gastro today to get retested for the h pylori (make sure it's gone) and I'm going to ask them to check while I'm there. I'm hoping and praying it really is nothing other than an internal hemorrhoid.
Thanks for the kind words.0 -
symptoms
I am not sure these were the very beginning, but somehow think they may be related. About a year and half before being diagnosed, my daughter was hospitalized and my stress level was at an all time high. I had a bout of diaherrea while she was in the hospital and attributed it to stress. I NEVER have had dia. before this episode, so it was very disturbing. Anyway, it went away and I then developed a "rash" outside the anus and they said it was a yeast infection. That was treated and cleared up. (In hind sight, no pun intended, I should have inquired if the infection was actually internal as well and related to the dia.) Anyway, I then started having blood show up with bowel movements and a LOT of itching. I assumed it was hemorroids, lucky me never had those either. Put off going to Dr as my daughter was and still is ill with an undiagnosed condition. Jump ahead and finally went to the dr, and she did an anoscope and immediately sent me to the surgeon. Surgery two weeks later and diagnosis.0 -
Same boat
TMPAGE I'M IN TEH SAME BOAT AS YOU. NO BLOOD, NO PAIN, NO FLAT STOOLS. ONLY ITCHING.
I SAW DR. GUYTON AT DIGESTIVE HEALTH AND HE SAID A TINY TINY HEMMAROID AND TOLD ME TO USE ZINK OXIDE AND DESITIN. I ASKED TO BE REFERRED TO A SURGEON JUST IN CASE (PEACE OF MIND) AND HE WOULDN'T DO IT. SAID IT WASN'T ANYTHING. HE SAID THAT 1 OUT OF 4 PEOPLE HAVE PERIANAL SKIN TAGS AND ITCHING WHEN THE WEATHER WAS WARM. I CALLED A SURGEON AND THEY NEED REFERRAL. SO I'M AT A LOSS. MY GP WON'T REFER EITHER.
DO PEOPLE REALLY JUST ITCH IN THEIR BOTTOMS FOR NO REASON? THEY SAY IT'S IN MY MIND AND/OR STRESS.
WHO IS YOUR DOCTOR? I SAW YOU WEREN'T FAR FORM ME.0
