Need my girls (& guys) with me at onc. appt. (warning-whine alert)
I am so nervous and anxious. I don't wanna do this again. I know I've done it before, by why wasn't that enough and why didn't it work. What makes anyone think it'll work now?I'm such a cry baby right now--last night I just burst into tears while hubby hugged me.
I need you all in that room, bracing me up and supporting me.
I'll report back.
Hugs (and gulp), Renee

Whine, cry, stomp, yell, do
Whine, cry, stomp, yell, do what you need to do. We are all right here with you. Close your eyes (after you read this...), take a few deep, slow breaths, picture all of us crazy pink flamingos standing in the room with you. We are a big circle around you.
We got your back, Renee! Take care! Let us know how you're doing.

I will be waiting impatiently (:
Renee,
you are allowed to be sad and express your anxiety.
No one has any guarantees in life, we just do the
best we can. And I know you will do the best you
can. Chemo was emotionally very hard on me. I had
to play all kind of mind games with myself to get
through it. I LOOOAAAATHHHHED the infusion room.
I am glad to see you post and I hope you continue
leaning on us, since that's what we are here for SISTAH!!
Biiiiiig hug,

You don't know it but you are one of the strongest women I know. For that matter so are all the other women who stand beside you who are back in the battle. We will all be surrounding you with so much pink love and energy we might short circuit the chemo room. Please apologize for us a head of time. We're screaming and whining our sentiments back at the beast too... Don't mess with the pink brigade.aysemari said:I will be waiting impatiently (:

Cry away, but we are all right there with you. Let us know what the mo has in store for you! It may be much better than you think, especially if the radiation is doing it's job. Just remember, it is still working and if it shrunk it enough, the chemo could keep the mets in check for a long time.
My hope and prayers are that the chemo will keep them in check long enough for this to become a chronic condition and even when I get frustrated and discouraged it is this hope and belief that keeps me going with the chemo!
Yes, all that noise you are hearing is all of us crowded in the room with you giving you all the hugs and support that you need. Congrats on finishing radiation!
Love and Prayers,
