so hard to complain

It is so hard to complain after reading Shirely's post and yet I do lol. I some times wonder how much a soul can take. She already is fighting Ovarian cancer and now it is in her brain. Last April I had to put my dog down (not the one in the picture) due to him having bone cancer, June I found out that I had ovarian cancer, and yesturday I had to put my cat down because his body had stopped processing food. I come to the board to state how I was having a pitty party for myself and find that my dear friend Shirely is now facing brain tumors. It makes you wonder how much one person can take I guess I can take a lot more after reading her post. my heart and prays goes out to all of you dear sisters.

Hi Anne:
Don't feel bad
Hi Anne:
Don't feel bad about complaining. Sometimes it can be a release of all that pent-up bad feelings or things we just cant discuss with anyone. I am sorry about your cat. My cat past several months ago. He was 19 years old. I cried my eyes out. It was like permission to let go of all the stuff we keep inside. Stuff that we don't necessarily discuss with our close friends or family members not because they wont listen, but because we don't want to burden them or because it would or might make them feel awkward. And then they would say "oh thats nothing, don't worry about that".
What friends and family members don't realize that everytime we hear about someone being diagnosed, or going to funerals, or someone who was recurred quickly, etc. etc., how that can effect all of us. Even if we don't say something, we do think about it. But it is all how we handle it.
Anne, you are going through some really tough stuff too. That doesn't mean you can't sound off a few times. And it makes us darn mad when someone we care about after going through all of this to find out that they have recurred like Shirley.
Sometimes when I am reading posts, there is so much that I want to say. But unfortunately I am unable to really put my thoughts into words or for it to read as I am feeling. But just know that for you and all on this board I am sending postive, prayerful thoughts and hugs your way.
My best to you.

I hear you sister, however pain is pain and suffering is suffering...each of our feelings are our own and we all need to support for the journey and burdens we are carrying....'
The cumulative losses you have suffered weaken the soul, you are justified in the tears and feeling as if the whole world is on your shoulders....embrace the loving energy on this board and energize yourself...
Sending hugs and prayers of endurance...
