Good to know. I had my implant surgery 4/27/11, but have been putting off nipple reconstruction because, frankly, I was tired of surgeries. I had 5 in a 10 month period and just wanted a break. I have rescheduled for the procedure in March. I don't have any feeling in the breast, so it shouldn't be too bad. I am curious to know how your tatoo goes as well. Take
care....0 -

The nipple reconstruction takes you from "barbie boobs" to "real boobs". Not painful - no pain meds required. I felt the same way - worn down by too many surgeries but it was definitely worth it. Tatoos scheduled for March - will update after the procedure.0 -
Tattoo
The tattoo was the easiest part of the journey. One thing I learned is when you pick your colors for the aerola and nipple go a little darker. Once the redness goes away it will be lighter. I didn't go dark enough so I have to go back to make mine a little darker. Still love not having to wear a bra!!
