SENDING PRAYERS, MARSHA
I can imagine what you're feeling right now. It's not a comfortable place to be at. But as we always say here, there are lots of reasons for the CA125 to climb. Have you had other symptoms, and that's why they're doing a CT?
Please let us know how it goes. In the mean time, sending lots of prayers and hugs.

Please take with a grain of salt
I remember reading my initial lab reports and seeing a high CA 125. It was before I had seen my gyn. I was still in denial about it. It definitely struck fear in my heart. And even though everything pointed to cancer. The gyn/oncologist told me not to worry. She would tell me when to worry.....namely after surgery.
So try not to worry...as it has been said before many reasons for CA 125 to go up. At the risk of offending you....when I could not help but worry, a shot of tequila helped. Lol, I am a cheap drunk...can't stand being drunk....but a shot of tequila took the edge off.0 -

I understand how you feel
I went throw this just a few weeks ago so I so understand how you are feeling. I just had the catscan last Wednesday and found out this Monday that my scan is clear. I have stage four ovarian cancer and we thought the cancer was back. The scan came back clear and I am still in remission. My CA-125 went from 6 to 52 in nine weeks so I was scared. My doctor told me about a paper he wrote that is about to come out that there is about 10-20 percent of ladies that their CA-125 razor up and down ( he means sharp up movement and then sharp down way movement) and he feels I fall in that percent of ladies. Please try not to worry to much and I know that is hard but maybe it is nothing. I am praying for you and I hope you can relax some I know easier said then done. My prays and hopes going your way and a siber hug lol.

Anne: did your doctor say anything about the Avastin causing the CA-125 to rise a bit? I have heard that possibility may happen.0 -

No not the Avastin it will cause you blood pressure to raise but not ca125 he thinks I am in the 20 percent of women that ca125 will go up and down sharply and it not be cancer. He is keeping a close eye on my number and if it does not drop then he has to go find the cancer because it is back in some kind of form or another.

If you are still showing a high Ca-125 & the scan of your pelvis/abdomen/chest is clear, you probably need to check your brain just to be on the safe side.0 -

I was thinking the same thing I want to see what the next blood test shows and go from there. I have been having these headeach that I have never had before, I have had maigrianes since I was 8 years old and this is not the type I have ever had it is in this one spot on the right side of my head near the spin so if the numbers are up I am going to talk with my doctor.
hugs, love, and prayers

As nyou've sdeen from my previous post it just happen to me. Had radiation this afternoon on two of three brain tumors and will have cranial surgery Monday...should have been caught sooner...but CA markers and just ab/pelvic CT which are negative don't catch everything else lurking out there. Be proactive. positive and hugs are coming your way.

If I were you, I would have that headache checked out. I know you live with pain every day & take painkillers so maybe you don't realize how serious this could be. A strange headache really needs to be investigated. Don't wait until you start having other symptoms like speech problems the way Leesa did.
I hope the testing is negative--you need to check this out sooner rather than later.0 -
