You need to refresh your browser
The same thing happened to me. Log in to CSN from a different browser - you'll see the new picture. I changed mine today - you should be seeing a curler; I still see my octopus. However, when I switch from Firefox to Google Chrome, I see the other picture.
I see you looking over your shoulder, holding a pooch.

The browser shouldn't have anything to do with it, refreshing the browser should do it and that's not even needed. The thing that drove me nuts at first was I would try to replace the image without deleting the old one first. You should have no image at one point, then you select a new one and submit.
Presto!

Change photo
Hi Gail,
I made a "how to" post a while ago. Changing your Avatar
I left this out though, FIRST you must select Delete Picture, then press the submit button.
Then follow the instructions...

PS: I found a video I made.
I see that sometimes members ask how to do this or that. Here's a little video I made a while back on how to update or change your Avatar (Profile Photo). I can not change mine now since it is being used in the banner on the main page but I think I covered the steps needed in case anyone wants to to this. Using Hatshepsut's READING ROOM: naming idea, I will try to keep all topics named INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO:
Change Photo Video.
If anyone has a request for a "How To" video (except How To Cure Cancer) send an email and I will see if I can help.
PS: there is a video on sending emails too

Thanks :)I will keep that info in mind. Actually if I need it I will probably just go and ask you. ha! and the picture seems to have made the change when it cyberly caught up with itself.

And then I'd see my old avatar on one browser, and my new one on the other. I changed my photo yesterday, and had exactly the same problems as described here. Firefox showed my octopus avatar at the same time the Chrome showed my curling avatar.
I remember a while ago asking people what they saw, because I'd changed my photo, and everyone else saw the new photo, while I still saw the one I deleted. I think it's a matter of deleting your cache (which is why using another browser might work - no cookies, no memory.)0 -
Bowling
It looks like someone is bowling. Is this the one you wanted? If so it's changed.

Yep thats it. But actually I was only there watching the kids. I couldn't hardly throw the ball! I threw one of theirs and my daughter took that picture. I like the colors lol0 -

I went to both of your About Me pages, then clicked on your pictures and they updated on that page. I came back here and now I see the new avatars. In the 15 years of doing web site stuff I have never seen that before. I am using an iPad but I don't think that's making much of a difference.
BTW: is it sports night?0
