flying and clexane for blood clot

Hi, while my husband is feeling well we would like to go to canaries, 4hrs from england. Will he have to declare injections for flying?

    i flew in country and packed them and checked the bag - no problem - intl I don't know - check w airline

    They probably have the most experience with this.

    There is always a workaround, so don't let this hold up your trip planning!

    I have flown in and out of 4 countries with my syringes, needles and Fragmin in my carry on. Only once (in Venice) was my carry on searched and I had a letter from my onc explaining the need for my medicine with me. The security guy passed the letter to his supervisor who looked at it for about a second and waved me through, no problem. I have never declared them.
    So my advice is, get a letter from your doctor explaining the medicine and you should have no problem.

    I don't like to check stuff that I need, so I always have something weird in my carryon. But I either carry it in the original bottle (with perscription on it) or have a letter from my doctor, stating what it is, and why I need it. I have had no trouble.
