Trisha thanks for asking
The cruise was great. The
Panama Canal is quite an amazing trip. We also stopped at Aruba, costa Rica, Guatamala,
Nicaragua, and 2 stops in Mexico. We saw countries I never thought we would see. The weather was great. The food was excellent. It was a great relaxing trip.
Today I had my repeat lab and CAT scan. I don't go to the doctor until the 24 th. I asked for the results to be mailed to me as it is an hour away from us. They said it could take 10 days to get the results. I hope it will be sooner. I still feel great and have no symptoms, so I am hoping for more observation. Although I have prepared myself mentally to go back on chemo, and if I don't have to then I wll Rejoice.
All of you remain in my prayers, and I hope you are doing well. In peace and caring.0 -

So glad you had a good relaxing holiday - the cruise sounds fabulous and it's great that you still feel well and have no symptoms.
I have everything crossed for your lab and scan results. The waiting is just the pits, isn't it - if there is one thing I would change it would be waiting times for clinical results.
You're in my thoughts and prayers, Ro

My mailed results arrived much sooner than the 10 days they said it could take. MyCA125 raised from 1140 to 2700 in the last 6 weeks. There are now 5 lymph nodes that have increased in size in the last three months. The 4 that they have watched before, and now a left para aortic is enlarged. I go to the doctor on the 24 th, so will see what the recommendation will be. The lymph nodes are about the size they were when I started my second round of chemo. My CA 125 is much higher at 2700 now. Before the highest was 1700. I still have no symptoms and continue to feel good. So I continue to enjoy each day. Our Florida sunshine is very uplifting. All of you remain in my prayers. In peace and caring.0 -

I am so sorry to hear that your numbers are rising and the nodes are enlarged. I do hope that your clinicians have a good plan to suggest when you see them on the 24th. I know that you have had good responses to chemo before, so let's hope you can use it to knock it back again. Remember what Linda used to say "it's only a number". You are feeling good and the weather is uplifting (Florida sunshine sounds wonderful compared to British cold!). Hang on in there, Ro - you will beat this again.

I'm sorry to hear the numbers aren't in your favor, but as Helen said "it's only a number". Crazy how our lives revolve around numbers and scans, etc. The pits!!
Feeling good is important and having the warm Florida sunshine around you tops the list. Sure wish I was right with you as we could walk on the warm beach sand and soak up some vit D from the sun.
You're in my thoughts and sending you "positive vibes" for much success in your future.
Hugs always,

I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your cruise and had a great time. Aruba sounds so pretty. I have been to a number of Islands in years past but have not travelled to an Island recently.
I am sorry to hear about your rising CA 125. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
I am glad to hear that you are feeling good and are enjoying the Florida sunshine.
Do let me know what happens with your appt. with your oncologist on the 24th.
I see my oncologist for my 3 month checkup on the 26th of this month since I ended treatment in October. I am feeling stronger each week and taking it one week at a time.
My hair is coming back now a little, but it will still take a long time for it to be a good length so I will be wearing my wig for probably most of this year.
I have changed my eating habits considerably. My son who lost 120 lbs. over the past couple of years is a teenager and knows a good bit about nutrition as he is helping me with eating the right foods. He is 17 and went with me for my last three chemo treatments. He was so comforting and gave me a lot of support when I was going through chemo last year.
I do wish you all the best. I am sure your doctor will give you a recommendation.
Warm Regards,

Sorry to hear about the labs. I guess you'll know next week what the next course of action will be. In the meantime, I'm so happy you feel well and had such a wonderful trip.
Sending some hugs and prayers to accompany you on the 24th.
