Time for CA 125 again

I had my blood draw for my latest CA 125 last Wednesday. I usually wait the two days to call my onc' office for the result. They mail me a written copy about a week later. This time I decided to wait for the result to come in the mail. I hate making that phone call and waiting, it seems like forever, for the result. One time I heard the person come back on the phone but she seemed to be hesitating. My heart was in my throat until she spoke up with the good news. I think this is a good step in my efforts to move forward with a normal life. I fought against putting the word normal in quotes. It's a constant battle isn't it ladies?

Waiting again too...drats!
I have never been accused of being patient. I knew on the 10th by the way the nurse was avoiding making eye contact that it wasn't going to be the numbers I wanted. Now I wait until the 31st and go through retest to see if they continue to climb....the minutes, hours and days are pure agony. I deal best with facts but I don't deal with uncertainty and I'm secretly praying the bad numbers are flukes in the sytstem or they read V-8 juice instead of my blood...anything but a reoccrence.
With that said, IF its true, I'm thankful there are treatments out there that hopefully knock them back down. Wish all these fancy scientist would figure away to add chemo to a margarita or milk shake instead of ice cold crap in the veins. Margaritas might not cure you, but after a 6 l/2 hour treatment, most people wouldn't be able to complain or care to.
Anne, you stated you are 52...sorry, let's just switch that around to 25...better yet, how bout 5 or 2...yeah! My doc gets really nervous if mine go over 35...don't think my insurance will let her start chemo unless i'm 36.
If anyone out there sspots a bottle of "patience" please buy me a six pack of the stuff. Look at the shelf closely, I also need a few bottles of "energy, attitude and oh yes, facial hair removal. Whoopee!
