All good news on Breast MRI!

I received great news, MRI was fine. That information was given to me by phone by surgeon's Nurse. Went I received the written report ( the letter from the hospital, not from rad) it said to have a mamo in 4 months. Does that sound right? I see my onco the end of Ferbruary and plan on asking him about it, just thought maybe you awesome ladies might know something about this.

Oh, by the way when I had MRI prior to surgery I was told I had 5 other places (non cancerous)and the nurse didn't say anything about that. I should have asked her, just wanted to hear the good news!

Thank you all for all you do!
Nana

    I think each oncologist
I think each oncologist might do it differently inre to when we go for our mammos. Some go every 6 months and some go once a year. Congrats on your good news!

    Bravo!
Congrats on your good news! May you continue to be cancer free and enjoy a healthy life.

I am not sure about the timing, but 4 months seems too soon. I've always heard every 6 months, but I'll let the other sisters comment.

Happy news is always wonderful. :)

    That is great news, Nana
My breast MRIs are every 6 months. I guess every doctor is different.

Rejoice and celebrate. You deserve it.

    Great news on MRI
Don't know what to say about the 4 month thing. Will that be 6 months from your last mammogram? Always good to double check these things. It's one of the good things about having so many docs involved in our care, we can check one against another.

Also ask about the "5 other things". If the MRI was clear, I assume they're gone?

    Great news
Goody goody gumdrops! About the 4 month interval. All of this may have to do with the unique circumstances of your case. I would not worry too much about it unless of course the doctor didn't want to see this done for an extended length of time.
