Some 'HAPPY' news -- Just want to share with all of you -- thru the good times, and bad

So I've been hitting the walls for 1 week -- My Internist called last Tuesday, and wanted to see me .. asap. It turns out that my biopsy for 'hemorrhoids' during my colonoscopy in late December == turned out to be a legion. Not a polyp, but a legion. Biopsy inclusive, possible anal cancer.

Specialist and Surgeon appointments this morning (I did slip off of the PINK bus for a few hours --sorry, Sisters) .. Specialist stated with certainty, based on his experience, 90% sure my tubular lesion is not CANCER .. !!

Surgery pending to remove the little **** :)

A Special Shout Out to a few Kindred Spirits that refused to allow me to suffer in silence this past week ..

Ines -- (Bella Luna), you mean more to me than I could ever express verbally -- Your light shines brightly, and I am happy to walk with you down any path, dear Friend.

Victoria -- (Aisling 8), you are my ROCK, and my Sister from another Mother - Plain and Simple.

Eileen -- C.C aka Cypress Cythnia, I gather Strength, and Courage from you --- You take my breathe away -- with all that you ARE, and all you DO.

Continued love, and support to all you wonderful Sisters in PINK waging a battle with the beast, yet again. Prayers and Strength I wish, and pray for each of you.

    For not telling us about this sooner so we could hold your hand, send you prayers and hugs. But, I forgive you since you got good news. You did, right? But, you have to have surgery now to remove it? Do you have a date so we can gas the pink bus up for you?

    Great news Vicki!!!!! Now, I would like to hear some more good news on this forum from everyone else.

    And yes, please let us know the date of the procedure so we can gas up the bus and come with you. You must have been so scared when you went the first time to find out. And you kept it from us too, eh? You little troubled bird! But I'm just glad it turned out OK.

    I felt like it has been something going on with you and was thinking about you. I am glad that you have gotten very promising news today. Sending positive thoughts hopping for an easy surgery and quick healing.
    When it will be over I will send you a remedy which has helped for anal conditions.

    Oh Vicki - what a huge relief! 90% sounds pretty darn good! I'm so sorry that you've been going through this scary time, but SO HAPPY that the news is so positive! Hugs and love to you, sweet Vicki.

    We're supposed to support you when you have things like this going on! Well, I'll support you now anyway, but wish I'd known what you have been dealing with. So I'm sending hugs, support, and prayers for that remaining 10% certainty.

    Vicki Sam, Dear Sister, I've been working on getting caught up with how all my sisters/brothers are doing and as I read your post, I had a little inner chuckle. It appears we have this in common, this grab the bull by the horns and take it down alone. I'm so so so happy this has turned out ok for you, HOW SCARY. I want to tell you that you should have let the bus take you, but then you could say "practice what you preach Kari" and it seems I get a lot of that the way it is :) LOL. I'm getting better, I know that there are tons of people out there for me and they want to help in any way, I just need to quit being so independent and lean on my support beams :) I think of you often and I'm elated that this bump in road has turned out benign. May 2012 be a Happy/Healthy year for you!!

    Whew! I am so relieved! I didn't even care about the LSU game, because I am so happy for you ;-). We will get together again--I want a bigger California reunion this time (can't say better because the last one was so wonderful). Love you and am so happy for you! (((Hugs)))
