Need Some Advice

I am hoping that someone on this forum can give me some advice. I am normally on the Prostate Cancer forum having been operated on 1 year ago for Prostate Cancer. I am going good and am cancer free and still getting “zero’s” on my PSA tests.
On an unrelated issue, my last 2 routine blood tests have “flagged” 2 items as not being normal. My Neutrophils were low and my Lymph’s were too high. My doctor thought this could be the start of CLL and ordered a Flow Cytometry Test. The results of that test showed a (+) for the following items… CD5, CD11c Dim, CD19, CD20 Dim, CD23, CD45, HLA-DR, KAPPA Dim.
Her advice was to wait another 6 months and repeat a normal CBC test because the lab report said that the “Abnormal cell population present” is only 21% and not the 25% that would indicate CLL.Can anyone enlighten me as to whether this is “good” advice and what this all means? Thank you.
Bob

    second opinion
Hi Bob: I know nothing about what you have written, but I have been on the uterine board for a while and I have read so many blogs about "waiting". It was always advised that you request a copy of your records and your most recent blood work and have a second opinion. This will not only confirm your Doc's opinion but it will also give you peace of mind. Sometimes Bob you have to advocate for yourself. So get a second opinion and you will be at peace. All the best. Thanks nempark
Thanks for the advice but I guess these days it goes without saying that you need more then one opinion. I appreciate your response but was hoping to get someone with a little more "technical" advice.
    Take care,
