A new 24-hour cooking TV channel, NCIS (TV show), herring, chocolate, and oliebollen (read fritter...mmmmm!)....

I can now live here comfortably!!!! *grins*

(Next, I work on getting some snow, and a frozen canal to skate on...)

    Hey where are you in Netherlands. I was born in Rotterdam and my mom too.
    I have loved all those things on that list for all my years. Have many relatives there. I was there in last 1998.

    Potate frite is excellent .
    I can't wait for herring!!!!!

    Enjoy, the folks are friendly and its a very different way of living, long vacations and proximity to all grand countries by train. Its good.

    Well .. my husband Pete and I would
    feel Welcomed by the Dutch -- NCIS is Pete's all time favorite TV Show, and I would be at
    home with 24 hours of cooking shows -- LOL..

    Nothing like feeling you are at home, even halfway around the world.

    It looks like the Euro has it a all time low (18 months - low) against our US Dollar -- hoping you will have loads of fun spending the extra cash -- should you and Hans find
    yourselves traveling thru Europe.
