1st follow-up CT
Fingers crossed for you Bob. I'm about 4 weeks from having my first and I imagine it's a time when most of us get nervous. Good chance yours will be fine and that we'll all be celebrating with you very soon.0 -

Won't hear the results for a couple of weeks more than likely. Going to the Mouse House in Florida with grand children this next week, then to Doctor when we return.

Doug,
That first one garners the most anxiety, its good that you have plans to keep your mind busy. I visited Mickey, Donald, and the rest almost 40 years ago (spring break 1972), man how time flies. Enjoy yourself and don't forget its okay to get a little goofy while you're there. Here's hoping the NED fairy pays a visit on your return.
Have fun,

Doug,
CONGRATS on the news!!! Now things can return to "normal" for awhile at least. It should make your trip much more enjoyable. The next time it will be a little easier, I promise.

Doug,
Great news. Now enjoy life for the next three months. We seem to live in three-, six- and eventually 12-month increments here and some day we will reach iceman's enviable status in the survivor's club.

Welcome to the survivors club Rob!!
BTW NED=??? (Silly Aussie here lol)
Mica
NED = No evidence of disease - the all-clear we all want to hear. No way you could have guessed it! RCC is so unpredictable we should never be complacent but NED is the best news we can get at any point in time. Happy New Year - many NEDs - to everyone.

Hey Doug:
Hope your enjoying your trip... The weather is grand and I expect you to be waving when you fly in over my house... I live about an hour from Orlando.....Grats on the NED!!! My next checkup isn't until March and I am already thinking about it.... but If you can try to check out Harry Potter land at Universal studios...it is absolutely amazing, the castle is full size and seeing it from the horizon is something you must see . ENJOY
Happy New year !!!

We have just returned home from a fantastic 8 day trip to Orlando theme parks with Daughters family. Enjoyed all the shows and rides with Grandsons 3 1/2 years and 9 months old. A lot of walking and did get tired at times but was well worth it to see the looks on those boys faces. (Iceman, rode no coasters.)It was a great celebration of the New Year and my first NED. (Almost 3 months post surgery.) Hoping for all good reports this year and to watch those boys faces for many more years. This is what its all about.
HAPPY 2012 TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!

Can't believe it is 3 months already! See. NTI. NOTHING TO IT!!!!! Keeps me pumped. Lots of tests and another biopsy this week for me. It is all about recognizing good things in a potentially compromising situation. Keep up the enthusiasm!!!!!0 -

Doug,
Welcome back, isn't it amazing how a little thing like cancer changes your life's priorities to the important things like family and friends. Glad you got the NED before the trip so you could fully enjoy it.
