Eric AKA Chemosmoker update from Facebook
IT'S ERIC!! I am HERE! HOME! THANK God-literally! I am feeling 10,000% better! They gave me three units of highly-compacted red-blood cells and I woke up feeling like a NEW NEW NEW person. AS long as my body doesn't leak the blood too fast, we should be able to keep this up for WEEKS God-willing, and I can continue to live and eat and breathe and share right here!!!!
Thank you EVERYONE for the incredible candlelight vigil and love and support-it mean SO SO SO SO much to me and to my family! I am here so type away and I will answer as much as I can. I tire easily, and I m not at 100%, but I am working at it towards it, and I hope we can all be together for a while at least here, if nothing more!
I LOVE each and everyone one of you like you just don't know. DON'T KNOW! DON'T TAKE ANYTHING OR ANYONE FOR GRANTED FOR A SECOND!!
I HOPE TO HAVE MY TOES IN THE SAND AT CLEAR-WATER BEACH BY FRIDAY IR SATURDAY, AND THEN EAT CRAB-LEGS FOR DINNER AFTERWARDS!! THIS IS MY GOAL AND PROMISE TO ME (SELFISHLY!) AND WE WILL JUTS HAVE TO GO FROM THERE ON HOW OFTEN I CAN RECEIVE THE BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS AND KEEP ON KEEPING ON.
THANT'S ALL FOR NOW MY FRIENDS. GOING TO REST UP, AND READ EVERY WORD THAT YOU ALL WROTE TO ME/US NOW!!! I LOVE YOU ALL! ----ERIC
Isn't it great to see all of Erics caps?????? Welcome back my friend!!!!

Glad you are back on your feet
So glad to hear that things are improving. Have been soooo worried about you these past few weeks. Have found myself checking the board a dozen times a day looking for an update. Rest today and get ready to hit the beach if only for an hour. We will pray that the transfusions keep things stable for a long time. Sam0 -

So glad to hear you are feeling better. Enjoy that sand between your toes and the soothing sound of the ocean. We have been visiting our son in Charleston - I've felt more at peace sitting on the beach and listening to the water than I have in weeks.0 -

Eric what a great surprise indeed!
You sound so much like my brother, when you think, oh know I think this is it, then he just seems to bounce right back. Just goes to show that only God has our time in His precious Hands.
When Jr would get his blood transfusions he would also feel like a new person.
So thankful for you!
Welcome back!! And may your stay be quite a long one!!0 -

Eric,
It is great to hear that the infusion went well and the results are positive. Time to relax, recover, and enjoy some beach time.
