If you think prostate might be problem, see a urologist but bejanie1 said:Hey Jeff
Just wanted to say glad you got to the ER in time. Those anaphylactic shock episodes are scary.
Hope this clears asap. You are right on....it's crazy, and sucks.
forewarned the probes are NOT pleasant!!!!!!!(They're not gonna say "Stick out your tongue and say Aaaaaahhhhhh.....")steve0 -

As long as this duplicated, might as well add this: you're (like me) at that age where prostate can add to your discomfort if its enlarged.......0 -

My husband Roby has seen an urologist. He put a scope up the uretha (sp, since he doesn't have a rectum anymore that's the only way to check the prostrate and said he had an inflamed prostrate. He's had alot of problems with urination, frequency, urgency and infections. He's been on about 3 rounds of antibiotics, he finished chemo in December and we're hoping some of this is chemo related and will ease up and time goes on.
He's seeing the urologist again tomorrow the other night he could not empty his bladder and was extremly uncomfortable all night, finally got relief the next morning.
Good Luck

Yesterday I was able to get another prescription for an antibiotic and so far it seems to be working okay...no hives. I saw an uro and yes i was probed everywhich way! I see the onc on Tues and hope that the antibiotics do their things. What's next?
