Unsure about this lump...

Dear, dear Heidi.
You are not wasting our time and you certainly are worthy of posting your concerns. We have all been there and believe me, we are all praying that it turns out to be nothing to worry about. In the meantime, you did the right thing in getting a doctor's appointment. Hopefully it is soon so that you don't have to torture yourself too long. I hope you have a close friend you can at least confide in because it's a lot to handle yourself. We are here for you so post whenever you want and we'll be praying for good news. Please update us when you can.
HUGS!!!

My appointment is in a few weeks...I found it a couple days ago was hoping I could put it in the back of my mind until the doc app but seems like its all I've really been thinking about. Thank you for your prayers and hugs. **Heidi0 -
Get an appt. now
You are not wasting our time. We know exactly how you feel and know how terrified you are right now. Try not to stress too much until you find out for sure what it is. Your lump may just be a non-cancerous cyst or just an infection.
I just read that your appt. is a few weeks away. Please do your best to get an apt. immediately. Tell them you found a lump and don't want to wait. The waiting game is torture.
You're in our thoughts and prayers.

My suggestion Heidi is to not wait to see the doctor, but, to let him know about this lump and get in as soon as possible. It could be nothing, but, if it is something, you need to know and be treated.
Keep us updated and sending hugs,

I agree as well. hopefully it is nothing, but if it is cancer in younger people is more aggressive generally and you need to get it evaluated

you'll be glad you did. In the long run, I sometimes wish I had closed my ears and not said a word to anyone about my lump......then it grew overnight to 7 cm. Ignoring it was no longer an option . I just gotten my medicare and I knew I wouldn't wind up in a chop shop..it saved my life.
Keep posting,

Women - Sisters in PINK.
Just my story ... not to scare you, or anyone else.
lump felt in left breast -- Doctor extracted fluid via needle biopsy --
not cancer.
fast forward 5 years ..
same breast -- same general area --lump, again -- this time == ultrasound,
incisions biopsy, .. not cancer.
fast forward 3 yeas ..
yes, you guess ... same breast, same general area .. mammo, general surgeon, surgery
lumpectomy -- this time 'breast cancer'.
BE you own BEST HEALTH advocate -- and keep copies your medical findings and records.. as life has it, we move, Doctors retire and Hospital's close.
Good luck, and let us know the outcome when possible.
Strength, Courage and Hope.
