My hair is growing back during chemo. Should I cut it again?

I Left Mine Alone
Mine never completely fell out either. I shaved my head once it started to fall out in clumps. That was after my first chemo infusion and I let it grow until I felt comfortable to go without the wig. I have since cut it about 4 to 5 times since undergoing chemo. It has been 2 1/2 years since being diagnosed and my hair is now thick, coarse, and healthy.

I've been having a hard time wearing the wigs -- I have 5 but they all feel really hot on my head. Thanks for the input. I wasn't sure if i should cut it or not, but it kind of makes sense to let it grow and get a head start.0 -

I shaved mine after it got super thin and looked really bad. Some of it started growing back after a couple of weeks and the rest after about a month or so. Mine is also different lengths and different textures. I keep asking if I should cut the longer strands off to match the rest, but everyone tells me to just wait....so I'm waiting.
I also don't like wearing wigs, switched to hats and several cute ones.

Hat, Wig, Scarf or in the Buff! It's Your Choice!
I wore the wig when going out on appointments or errands, most times. I also alternated between hats and scarfs, too. There is a program sponsored by L. Erickson that give FREE silk SCARFS to survivors! The program is called "Good Wishes Scarfs". You can go online, pick out the one you fancy, and get it in the mail! They have an incredible selection!
It's okay if you don't want to wear a wig. Mine itched too.

Mine fell out and then
Mine fell out and then immediately starting growing back in. Unfortunatley it was just the white hairs and they didn't grow. My head just had a fine covering of hair like a baby would have. I never wore my wig it was just too hot. If my head was cold I would wear a light covering but really I went bald and beautiful the majority of the time. Of course I got looks and the nice ones would then ask questions. Always told them what was going on and lecture them on checking the girls out monthly and having their yearly mammos.0 -
