"Welcome" Paula
I'm so sorry for your loss! EC is a miserable disease and seems to only be getting more aggressive.
My 48 y.o. husband was diagnosed Stage 3 in mid May. He completed rads & chemo and completed surgery in early September. We were fortunate - he completed his treatment successfully and we are now "on the other side" of EC. And very grateful to have the opportunity to continue to support others here.
Please let us know how we can help you. Happy New Year to you as well, Paula. Here's to 2012 being a much better year than 2011.

I'm pretty new too
Hi Paula,
I just found this site not long ago too, isn't it fabulous? I am very sorry to hear of your loss, EC sure is vicious. If you are here for support, you have come to the right place.
Welcome Paula!

My dad passed from EC 11/8/11--like you, the sadness is overwhelming. I don''t have a bunch of wisdom yet---but know that this site helps one not feel alone in this journey. email me if you want, bkpriest@insightbb.com

All of you are so strong and kind. The past 8 months feel like a blur of chemo, radiation, PET scans, lab work and finally a spontaneous fracture of Teresa's right femur. It seemed that the fracure set off a downward spiral and within 10 days she went from baking cookies in my kithche to being in a coma. WOW what a horrible, terrible disease. THANK YOU ALL for your support and kindness.
