Still here...
She did tell me that since there was such small amounts of cancer in me that they compare each scan very closely to see how chemo is doing. She says that there shouldn't be any major change because of the small amount of cancer in me, but its simply in some peculiar spots...
I did take a Christmas chemo break where I did feel like doing a little. I am spending a lot of special time with my children and thats great.......I love each of you, I just have the need to isolate myself for a while. It helps clear my head.....I wish all of you well in the new year........buzz

Dear Buzz
So good to see you here again, if only for a moment.
Glad the chemo is working, just wish it was kinder to the rest of you.
Thank you for letting us hear from you. You are missed, but we all understand the need for time away.
Blessings to you and may you have years more with your kids.

Really great to see your handsome face and to hear your CEA is dropping. So sorry about the extreme nausea. So many here have that terrible side effect. May the new year bring better health and more time to spoil those kids. Check in again when you're up to it.
Luv Ya,

Glad to hear from you!
Hi Buzz,
I'm glad to see and read your post! I'm glad you've gotten to spend some good times with your kids. Sorry you've had such a hard time on the irinotecan. I had a horrible time with nausea and vomiting when I was on it, so I can relate to that. But it's great to hear it seems to be working and that your CEA is dropping!
Take care & please check in every now and then so we don't worry about you

Clift,
It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD to hear you are doing okay and holding your own. I pray for you often and am so glad when I got on tonight that the first one I saw was you! I am doing well; I had an MRI on 12/23 and they only could see about 15 lesions on my liver compared to the 30+ they saw in July and Sept. They are only on the right lobe instead of across both lobes as they have been and my tumor marker this time was 1.0!! Buzz; if it hadn't been for you and your encouragement and talks with me throughout this year, there are times I think I would have given up. My goal before the end of this year was to make sure I told everyone thank you for whatever they have done to support me in this fight. Thank you for being there. Thanks for your words of wisdom. I know in my heart you are going to keep getting better. We will beat this Clift! I am going to keep believing; for both of us....for ALL of us. Hang in there and stay well. Have a very Happy and healthy New Year and I hope to see you on the board again soon. Take care of yourself dear!
Love and hugs,
