Adjuvant Chemo Completed. Scans Done. Doc Appt on 30th.
I am hoping i will be clear. But going fwd. i don't know what's in store. Is Cancer like a flush tank, where you flush when you take chemo and it comes back up? Or is it more like you take care of yourself and it won't show up again.. Who knows?

And you're right....who knows?
I see that you are in your 20's. That's so young to get this d*** disease. Sorry.
No advice except to hang in there. Get/stay educated on this matter. Healthy diet, exercise, and keeping stress-level to a minimum, etc, etc. certainly won't hurt. I learn a lot here from nice people. I, too, have a deep faith, which I keep working on developing, because it is comforting, and it changes everything. I just do what I can do.
Let us know tomorrow what you find out. The cea is good. Hope scans are fine, too.0 -

Scan Results
Scan Results are out. Near Complete Response. Plan is to continue Xeloda only for 2 more cycles and ditch the Xelox to consolidate the remaining swelling in lymph nodes. No metabolic activity seen though. Onco thinks my response to chemo is very good and can probably call it Remission after 2 more cycles then the break time starts.
I have decided to start Tibetan Medicine from tomorrow and continue living a healthy and active lifestyle. Will see what is in store. Feel very lonely though. Nobody close to hang onto. But praying day and night will provide support.0 -
That sounds like great news and only needing two more treatments is great. Sorry you feel lonely - do you not have any family or friends where you live? Just remember here, you have joined a great family and we will continue to be your support and strength, it's not the same as the physical family, but we all have formed a bond here. We will be here for your trials, tribulations, lonely feelings and anything else. Welcomezirotra said:Scan Results
