Feeling Helpless not sure what to do

as hard as it may be
you need to go ahead and get your scan, and anything else that you need to do to take care of yourself. I'm sorry to hear of your father's situation, and can only imagine how hard it must be to be torn in this fashion. But you cannot let this delay necessary treatment for you.
Wishing you and your father the best.

Thank you Pat. I had my scan yesterday and just waiting for results I'm sure do to holiday it will be Tuesday. I got Hospice on board Wed for my dad we started him on morphine today for pain control. So tough my dad didn't say a word about his pains this fall and I'm sure it was because of my diagnosis and surgery it happened at harvest time and we live off our land for food. We live on a 160 acre ranch up in the mountains 60 miles from the closest town. Guess I'm worried about feeding and taking care of the horses and all that goes with our life style here. You don't have neighbors to run next door to. But I remember I am not in control the Lord is and it is his will. I appreciate the advice and Merry Christmas. God Bless0 -

If the oxygen masks are deployed, you must put yours on first. You have a very tough situation, but your prognosis is good. You must take care of yourself. You can only do what you are able, and as you said, God is in control. Merry Christmas.

Thank you my results came back normal for this scan. Praise the Lord there are no masses or lymph node abnormality (I opted not to have my lymph nodes removed the depth of cancer was just barley over 1 mm). I dont have to return until end of March for my next checkup unless something comes up. I had to giggle I am the person that would make sure everyone had thier oxygen mask on first and then worry about mine. God Bless Happy New YeaR0 -
