Small Bowel Tumor
Back home now, feeling good with slight pain but a ton of anxiety over what the results may bring. I'm reenforcing my positive side as I won't get results until I meet with the surgeon on Friday.
Just another speed bump in lifes wonderful journey.
Best wishes and good health to all.

Wow, sorry to read this. Of course I can understand the anxiety. Hoping that you get good results. Keep reinforcing that positive side, or at least try not to worry, unless there is something to worry about. Always easier said than done, at least for me. Keep us posted about Friday. Will be thinking of you.0 -
Glad you got some relief
Hi Ed, sorry to hear you had to go through the pain and procedure. I was just reading up on it a bit and it sounds like you have plenty of reason to be hopeful. Tumors of the small intestine can have several causes, and be benign, or pre-cancerous, and they cut it out right away. Like Sweet, I'll be thinking of you Friday.

Hi Ed
Sorry you had to go through this but as you said just another bump in our life. I happy for you they found it in time before it got worse.
On the PET scans I don’t put too much faith in them anymore, they are only as good as the guy who is reading and interpreting what it means.
Take care

Sorry to hear you are facing another speed bump
I will be saying an extra prayer that the tumor is benign. At least they caught it early if it is cancer. My grandmother had a colon tumor removed and did not need
rads or chemo because it was caught early.
BTW I really like that picture of you and your wife. Was that pre treatment or post?

Debbie,
That was taken this past July as we were biking down the switchbacks of a volcano in Hawaii. I was 16 months post at this time and feeling great, much as I do now. We also ziplined for the first time and got to cross off another couple items from this 64 yr olds bucket list.
Thanks for caring and God bless,
