Checking In

Hi all:

Sorry, I haven't been on lately but have been keeping up. Just returned home this morning from a week in Nashville/Chatt. My friend Debbie (the friend that lost her brother to this beast in Jan.) went to Nashville Mon-Thurs. for the Opryland Country Christmas. Was fabulous. Saw the Louise Mandrell show and the Rockettes. Simply fabulous. And the ice exhibit - whoa! How they carve all that and color it (the theme was Merry Madagascar) is something else. They keep it 14 degress in there so you're not in there more than about 30 minutes and they do give you a big parka to wear!

Saw my nephew Fri. and I could have cried tears of joy. This is the first time I've heard him talk since his accident. He still talks a lot in the past but the people he talks about are real. And, praise the Lord he's up to 121 lbs. Also both braces are off his legs. He's still got a long way to go but what a long way he's come! Thanks for continued prayers.

Hope the new pix comes thru. This was several Christmases ago probably around 2005/06 of Charlie and me at a restaurant during Christmas. Will be home until the 22nd and then go to in-laws for Christmas but back on the 28th and my friends Debbie, Beki and I will be leaving for a week in G'burg Jan. 7-14th.
