surgery in 4 hours

in Colorectal Cancer #1
4th lung resection coming up...lying in bed and just weird knowing what is coming up but not being able to really do anything. It is just a sucky roller coaster that you want off but the train has left the station...

    Hang in there... the time
    Hang in there... the time leading up to surgery is anxious to say the least (especilly when you are just hours away). I have had enough surgeries myself and it helps to focus on the after, when it's behind me and I am recovering and getting better every day. I am thinking and praying for you. May it all go perfectly!

    Just want to let you know I am thinking of you and just said a prayer that all goes well for your surgery and recovery. Wow- 4th lung surgery- that's a lot.
    I guess at least you know what to expect afterwards by this time. Wishing and praying for everything to go smoothly.

    You are our league leader in the number of lung surgeries. You know the drill - you know what to expect - you know what a challenge it will be.

    It's incredible really - that many lung surgeries on one lung. I feel it pretty good at only 2 of 'em.

    Here's to a healthy recover and hopefully this one will get everything behind you.

    Prayers for a good Recovery
    Thinking about you. Prayers for a good recovery so you can enjoy this season. Last year I missed Christmas with too low blood for chemo and had to avoid family with school age kids BUT this year, I will enjoy Christmas and think of all on this board who are going through treatments, scans and surgeries with hopeful wishes for the new year.

    I'm praying and wishing the best for your outcome. I've followed your story for as long as I've been on the board and you have been through a rollercoaster of things. I'm glad that you were able to get surgery and hoping that you will let us know how you are doing and how it went. You are always in my thoughts and think about you often.
