Still here
It has been a while since I have posted. Don is doing ok but getting a little weaker every day. He is surviving on pain meds. We see the oncologist tomorrow. The tumor on his chest is growing and we are afraid it may be pushing on his new esophagus. So far he is still able to eat small amounts. He is having Hospice care and they have been wonderful.
He has fallen a couple times and now is using a walker when he has to bet up at night.
Don't know how much longer I will have him, but we are cherishing every day we have. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as I do all of you.

Thank you for the update
Reba,
Thanks for giving us an update on Don. I am so sorry to hear the tumor continues to grow. I am glad that Hospice is there to provide help. Hopefully they have pain management under control and Don is as comfortable as possible.
You and Don are in my prayers daily. I hope that you and Don have the best possible holiday season.

Reba,
We think about you and Don and pray and wait to see what God has in store for us to learn from him and for him to learn from us and God. We love you.

Paul, Thanks so much for your prayers. It means so much to know that not only do we have close friends and family praying, but those of you on this Forum. We are going to see a radiologist tomorrow morning to see what he thinks about the tumor. Don't know if anything can be done, or if Don will even consider it. I will let you know.

Know that we are keeping you and your family in our prayers. We have also called in hospice care and are working on regulating the pain meds. Take care,
Cheryl
Just know that my prayers are with you too. This journey we are all on is a tough one, but we have a Heavenly Father who is walking it with us.
