I have an appointment with the "Image Recovery Specialist" next week to try prosthetics and bras (again with the bras). Does anyone have any suggestions, advice, questions I should ask?
I kind of have mixed feelings about this...of course I WELL know what a gordian knot this whole breast cancer deal is!

Be sure the person is a CERTIFIED fitter. Be sure they listen to you and what you have to say about the fit/look. Ask about the warantee/guarantee on the pros. They can have blow "outs". Get what you like/feel the most comfortable with - that's not necessarily what anyone else likes.Example - the first bras I got were not really what I like but I listened to her and got non underwire and I was never really happy with them - I've always worn underwire because to me they are what I like. When it was time for more I got underwire aznd I love them. Where I live, there is only one certifiedfitter within over 300 miles so not lots of options of places to go nor is their supply of underwire that big so she orde4rs in several for me to try when it's time for more.
You might want to take a friend or Hubby with you for input on 'look' but in the long run get what YOU are comfortable with/in.

Don't be surprised if you get a different size than you think you should - 75% - 90% of women wear the wrong size. Also differentmanufacturers will fit differently or even different styles by the same manufacturer. The last I got one was a 36 D and the other. 34C - both fit great.0
