What an absolutely beautiful and thoughtful message to us Caregivers. I know from managing my husband's care 4 years ago when he had cancer of the left tonsil through today that although his journey was and is still exceptionally difficult, it is also overwhelming for the caregiver. Our life changed May 27, 2009 and will never be the same. But I will tell you this....I have never met and will never know anyone as brave and strong as my husband. Our love and relationship has been tested throughout this journey but it's better than ever now and we are truly thankful for so, so much. Having a great support team - medical staff, family and friends helps with your recovery. We are still blessed to have all. More importantly, keep the faith that it will not always be like it is. Days will get better and things could be worse.
Thanks again Hondo for your kind words.
