puts all of lives sadness, and confusion into perspective. We all have a choice .. we can either 'laugh' or cry -- while dealing with our breast cancer, and all its multiple side efforts -- which includes, hair loss for we 'Chemo Queens'.

After finishing taxol last month, my hair is starting to grow back. Now all of sudden,
my eyebrows and eyelashes are falling out. Go figure~ All I can do is laugh!

Im with you Debi...I did taxol first my hair thinned so i got a pixie cut.After my first treatment of f/a/c it starting falling out by hand fulls so I shaved it off.I have 1 f/a/c to go and my hair is growing back already about a 1/4 an inch now,but my eyelashes and brows are almost gone, Very crazy!0 -

I went to church last Sunday with pretty normal hair, only slightly thinner. I came home from church with itchy, loose feeling hair and began running my fingers through it. Three sink fulls later, I was almost bald! In ONE day??!! Needless to say, I was traumatized, but am slowly adjusting. The waiting was the worst I think. Day after day of counting the days and waiting til you're BALD can cause insanity!!
I agree humor helps alot. I'm not quite ready for anyone elses humor though. Still too sensitive. Now I need all the tips on how to do this. What I find irritating already is that I have to have something on my head all day. I still have some hair, not much at all , but with even a scarf, it gets hot. I live in Tucson, Arizona...hot. My children who are still young don't want to see me without hair. Besides scarves, hats and a wig, are there any other clever ideas or tricks anyone has learned? Also, I'm very nervous about wearing a wig in public, feels so artificial. That's because it is! 0 -

The shop I purchassed it from has a private room that you can go in a try wigs on. Have a great time in Florida!
My hair was slow but Ihardly remember it, except when we went out with friends the first time I went topless and my husband kept rubbing my head. The more "feeling good" he got the more often until i had to nicely ask him to stop.
BTW my eyebrows fell out one more time then my lashes about 3 times then it stopped!0 -

Lint brush!! Genious!! THAT'S what I need. The shedding, (eventhough it's super short) is driving me nuts.

Hair
I finished chemo in May 2011. One day this summer I was sitting in a meeting at work with all men. I rubbed my finger across my chin and I realized MY KNUCKLE HAIR WAS BACK! I was SO happy! But, I didn't thing the guys would appreciate it. Now my head hair is back, I am keeping it short. I feel like letting it grow long would jinx things. I don't know why hair loss is so dang traumatic. I am sorry you have had to lose your hair twice.0 -
