Hey Pink lad/lassies, If a tumor begins in the lobulars and has moved outside...is that Invasive Lobular?

I see the onc on Monday to get the results on this tumor. The other tumor is IDC.

    As I understand it...
Once cancer breaks through the tumor it is considered invasive...otherwise is in situ..meaning it is self contained...but best to wait for your oncologist to explain all this...

    Wishing you the very best

    On breastcancer.org there
On breastcancer.org there is a forum totally devoted to ILC, invasive lobular cancers. That is just about all I know.

Yes. That is invasive lobular. Mine was removed with a lumpectomy then rads. So far I am doing great. Good luck on Monday.
