what to expect

in Anal Cancer #1
My hubby has been fighting chirrois for five years. Just found two tumors on liver in july and this week dx with rectal cancer. What should we expect next?

    Hi lisamill39--
    I'm sorry your husband is having to go through this. Is his diagnosis rectal or anal cancer? Treatment for the two kinds is different and I am an anal cancer survivor, so don't have as much knowledge about rectal cancer. Please clarify if you can.

    Please look at the correctol board there are many rectal cancer survivors, along with survivors who have had mets to the liver, that can help you. I wish you and your husband well. Lori
