Surgery scheduled for Nov. 10th

in Ovarian Cancer #1
Hello My Teal Sisters - I am scheduled for surgery Nov. 10th at Memorial Sloan Kettering for 1st recurrance after initial diagnosis in Dec. 2008 - tiny nodule near my lower colon that dr. wants OUT! Will be major surgery so I ask for your thoughts and prayers my sisters - chemo will follow but I am up for the fight - Love Love Love to you all - Annie

    Surgery Went Very Well!
    Hello My Dear sisiters- surgery went very well - Dr. was able to do it laproscoptically (even the colon resection)and i was sent home form hospital with no pain meds (!) and feeling GREAT after only 4 days! Dr. said I am "PRISTINE" inside (!) and I intend to remain so with a little help form whatever chemo they determine will be necessary (will find that out on Nov. 30th ) Thank You so much for the love, support and prayers - could not have made it without them - you are all in my prayers as we push on - Love Love Love you all- Annie

    Hello My Dear sisiters- surgery went very well - Dr. was able to do it laproscoptically (even the colon resection)and i was sent home form hospital with no pain meds (!) and feeling GREAT after only 4 days! Dr. said I am "PRISTINE" inside (!) and I intend to remain so with a little help form whatever chemo they determine will be necessary (will find that out on Nov. 30th ) Thank You so much for the love, support and prayers - could not have made it without them - you are all in my prayers as we push on - Love Love Love you all- Annie

    Anne....that is such good news. I'm sorry you have to go back on chemo, but so happy the surgery was successful. So many doctors skip that step and just go straight to the chemo, and I think that is a mistake. I would want it OUT, too.
