Yesterday we were scheduled for the following appts: 11:30 MRI. 1:30. Surgical oncologist. 2:45 CT scan. Husband got into MRI on schedule. On House they take 15 min. so that was our best guess. He exited MRI at 2:15. He said they shoved a tube up his butt and shot liquid through it while taking pictures. We never saw that on House. Got to surgical oncologist one hour late and luckily no one in waiting room so was brought back to exam room almost immediately. They did the normal checks, asked the normal questions, and 2.5 hours later the surgeon came in. In meantime, husband almost passes out due to antiseptic smells he no longer tolerates, threats to leave, and wife who gets him into submission with lots of words that begin with F. The good news is that surgeon says possibility of surgery is still at Probably. Told my best girl friend this story and she said I should be angry at surgeon. I told her I would --- that surgeon's ---- if he would cure my husband. She said don't throw that one on the table first thing but save it for emergencies. You gotta laugh. Lisa
