Brain Cancer from Mets Breast Cancer
Two spots on the brain (eye and ear areas) that are too dangerous to operate on. She will be undergoing whole brain radiation treatment soon. Chemo will stop during this treatment and will begin when it's completed.
I don't even know what questions to ask! If there is anyone with any info on this type of brain cancer I'd sure like to hear from you. One question I have is - is there a name for brain cancer that came from breast cancer?

My daughter has been diagnosed with Glioblastoma IV in the left frontal lobe. Surgery to remove the “plum size” tumor was removed. Due to possible fringes of the tumor left behind in the tumor area, she is undergoing 6 weeks of radiation and 6 weeks of oral chemotherapy. She will have an MRI to check on treatment results.
She is able to talk and walk. She has full cognitive ability.
Has anyone here gone through this personally or with a loved one. What can we expect with this type of treatment outcome?
Any input would be helpful.
