Hi all:
Haven't posted in awhile but have kept up with everybody! Been on the road a bit. My sister came down last Wed. and we went to see our 93 year old aunt in Albany, GA then over to our brother's in Thomasville and had a nice visit with him and his wife and got to see my niece and one of her little ones the one was sick. Then back here for the last laser show of the season at St. Mtn. We had a great time. Please keep Charlie's Dad in your prayers. He had a brother in Louisiana to pass away in his sleep Sun. night. They were very close. This wasn't totally surprising as this brother had not been in good health for a couple of years; heart problems; lung problems and very heavy and had broken a leg about two years ago. But he was able to come and see my father-in-law back in Feb. for his birthday. Also, my nephew Brian is talking! They have taken the brace off the left leg and the cast off the right leg and now both are in boots. They're very pleased with the healing. Also, he got the trach out Monday! He's still in rehab of course. Now the main problem is they don't know why he's losing weight. He's down to 102 lbs. He was losing weight before the accident. Don't know if having a long standing relationship with alcohol has anything to do with it; and now that's he's off of that if it takes time for body to start utilizing food properly. Now, he does have a feeding tube in and they have given him some applesauce; but he's not eating regular yet. But considering this time 8 1/2 weeks ago; what miracles have occurred. He does talk sometimes in the past; but also in the present; but the docs tell his mom that is normal considering the traumatic brain injury he had. Thanks for all the prayers and continued ones. Must run and finish changing out from H'ween to T'giving decor! I'm so seasonal don't you know? God Bless!
