I'm sorry
to hear that the two tace procedures didn't work for you. I can only imagine how you are feeling. My Mom passed away from bile duct cancer and it was a long road so I can understand what you are going through...and want you to know my heart goes out to you and I am praying and pulling for only the best for you and your health. My friend has been very successful with the tace procedure. I'm sad to read it didn't help you. Have you thought about getting another opinion? I think that might be a good idea. This is your life, don't ever ever give up! Keep fighting the good fight! What state are you in? I am in Maryland. Hopkins is a great place and can do many wonderful things for people, I hope you will consider another opinion. Please write me if you need a friend at angelbaby300000@yahoo.com I would love to be support for you. Sincerely, Angel. Many hugs! I am pulling for you and praying for the best for you!0 -

How to know the TACE failed
Hi sw1500, I am sorry to hear that the TACE has failed on you, and hope the sorafenib will have good effect on you. Can you please tell me how to evaluate if TACE treatment is working? My dad has got two TACE treatments so far, the tumor size didn't seem to change, and the AFP remains above 1200. Does it mean the treatment failed?
Thank you and I hope you feel better soon.0
