Hi,

I'm just done with week 4 of chemo rads going into week 5 tomorrow. Week 4 was my second Cisplatin infusion.

I can still swallow but I am having great difficulty getting anything in by mouth or tube because of the perpetual feeling of bloatedness. Even drinking water is making me full.

Any advice please? Thanks very much.

    Hydration
I can tell you this....keep drinking the water...hydration is very important.

Other than that, communicate your symptoms to your MD's.

    Hi Andrew
Not too sure what the problem could be, I understand the Jaw and mouth problem but not the bloating. Like John said you do need to keep drinking or putting water in the PEG as you don’t want to have problems with dehydration. On the other make sure you talk to you doctor in the morning, don’t leave until you have an answer. How is your bowel movement, sometime Rad and Chemo treatment can get you backed up really bad, again talk to your Oncal doctor about this.

I wish you well my friend
