Waiting on results....... :/

Hello everyone. I am new here just created an account 2 days ago. Monday I went in for a Colposcopy after having abnormal Pap results for quiet sometime now. I am kind of disturbed as to why it took the doctors so long to schedule this procedure because I have had abnormal paps for going on almost 6 years now. During the Colposcopy the doctor informed me that he was going to have to proceed with a cone biopsy because when he put the vinegar on my cervix it showed abnormal cell changes. These past few days have seemed like years awaiting the results today is Thursday and I called my doctor this morning his nurse informed me the results were in and that she would have the doctor review them and call me back. So here I am a nervous wreck waiting for my phone to ring. I am 24 years old and have a 4 year old son who is my world...my mind has been wondering like crazy since all of this has happened and I cant help but to prepare for the worst outcome. Only time will tell.
