Need a few extra prayers.....

My Dad passed away on Monday morning the 17th. He was 85 but suffered from COPD. Way to many years of smoking. I thought after the first cry I would be fine. Well tomorrow I have to fly to Michigan from Calif. and tend to the funeral. It is a long and sad story and don't need to go into it all. But it would help to know that someone cares. My family, siblings and his siblings have never been around for help. As they all live with 5-10 miles from him and I live 2,600 miles it has been a real load to carry. Especially the final year with him I went through breast cancer. Thank God for my husband and my friends. Sorry to lay this out there but I am getting upset knowing I leave tomorrow and will be on my own with all of them. Oops .. my one sister will be there with me and she will be a big help. She lives 300 miles from where our Dad lived.

    and cyber {{{{{HUGS}}}}} as well. We'll be with you in spirit dear sister. When it all presses down on you just close your eyes, take a deep breath and picture a subdued pink bus parked outside. None of the racaus behavior normal for us, just there for support. (We can get rowdy if you need us too though. Like maybe shooting things off the bus at people who are giving you a hard time.) Travel safely and gently.

    Get yourself together and cry if you need to and don't let your brothers and sisters get on your nerves it's not good for your health(stress). think of the good times you and your dad had and try to block out the none sense.safe traveling and god be with you.>>HUGS>> Mollyz

    Prayers and angels are surrounding you for the trip. Try not to let them get to you. Think of something to say over in your head when they start getting on your nerves - kind of a blah blah blah blah thing, but useful.

    Hoping you trip is save and more uneventful than you imagine.

    Please accept my condolences. I lost my Dad 5 years ago this month and my Mom just two weeks before I found the lump in my breast that brought me here. Best to you and yours. It is very hard.
