Hi Sisters!!! I'm Back
Sorry I haven't been on line and I will answer all my emails. Please forgive me for not replying. My son from Denver had to fix my computer when he was here cause I have not been on it for a long time and it would not let me in. On top of that things were moving very fast for me. After I finish Herceptin, Taxotere and Carboplatin the tumor in my left breast was still to big for surgery so he started me on Cytoxan, Adriamycin and the shot the next day. Lol, that was a real butt kicker for me but I would not let it get the best of me. When I finish those treatments I had a double mastectomy on Oct. 7th the day after my 50th birthday and it was the best birthday gift I could ever receive. My surgeon removed the tumor, the cancer that had spread in the breast and all five lymph nodes and I feel great. I will start radiation once I heal including more Herceptin for 8 months along with chemo pills for the next 5 yrs but I can do it cause I now know that I am a real fighter and stronger then ever.
I hope to hear from you all cause I sure did miss you. Sharing your feelings, experiences and etc was a great help for me and I hope that I can do the same for you.
Your Sister Forever,
Deb
