I can't stand the thought of Lisa and her family facing this right now. Andre, if you read this, please tell Lksa that I am thinking of her, praying for her and that I love her.

Adding her and her family to our prayer line tonight. So sorry to hear the news. I know she has been worried lately--may God's peace comfort and guide Lisa and her family in this difficult time.0 -

I sent her picture to all my FB friends to pray for her. Please do the same and ask them to do the same. Prayer in groups is so powerful. Please do it. Email your friends. Ask for a miracle. Lisa wants to live! ,,,0 -
Praying hard
My thoughts and prayers are for Lisa to have a speedy recovery and to fight this. It is so frustrating the ups and downs. Hang in there.

I just love Lisa. Such a beautiful soul, to go along with her lovely face. I always enjoy reading her posts. She has fought so hard and been so encouraging while doing so. All I can say is that I love her, and I'm praying for her and her family.
*hugs*

prayers and more
I pray for Lisa42's recovery, I worry about her supplements being missed when she may need them most, in the hospital. We've done the hospital vitamin-nutrition drill twice now, and it is a very difficult situation. Dealing mostly with engrained ignorance and superstition.
There are papers that discuss pneumonias and vitamin C. In fact the original start of mega IV vitamin C was from a 1942 case of viral pneumonia turning gray (usually finito) that then had a surprisingly rapid and unexpected recovery with vitamin C shots. One paper showed even one gram per day of IM vitamin C reduced pneumonia mortality about 50% in elderly pneumonia cases. There are clinical claims that vitamin C downstages the antibiotic requirements from dramatic drugs and doses. More recent papers show IV vitamin C being useful for sepis/prevention in advanced cancer patients.
My wife's own extended supplement use was snap started with gross wastage (~45 lb in weeks) and debility at the onset of obstruction and stage IV colon cancer. Now she's flounced out of hospitals twice after major surgery two days early, using no pain relievers stronger than celecoxib once the (IV) vitamin C and supplements started, asap. Bye-bye cancer stimulating opiods and morphine. Her wound healing is exemplary and no sepis. In fact, our IV vitamin C used to come from California.
Our RN is eager to use IV vitamin C on the maids when one shows up with anything respiratory (to prevent passage to the elderly) because it's fast. One of our doctors (MD) uses IV vitamin C on advanced cancer patients who have run out of chemo options (or desire) for pain and infection control with increased wellbeing and energy, possibly some regressions (he didn't have the redox adjuvants like lipoic acid or vitamin K2 until recently).0 -

I have learned so much from Lisa about courage and faith. My heart goes out to her family and friends. She has fought so hard to live and it hardly is fair that she is in the position now. Lisa, thank you for everything, may God keep you safe.0 -
