Good News & Bad News
The bad news.
I met with my Oncologist this afternoon. He said that there are 3 new spots on the CT SCAN which show great concern. He said because they are in 3 different areas - it probably is not good. There will be a PET Scan this Thursday. I will then meet back with the oncologist on Monday. He said he will probably order a tissue sample from the Radiologist of the Pancreas. He said he hopes he is wrong. Me too.

Glad that the colonoscopy came back clean, but sorry to hear about the other areas of concern. I'm praying for you.

3 different areas, Lizzy? Obviously, one is in the area of the pancreas? Can you say where the other 2 are? Ok, if you don't, of course.
I'm sending best wishes that any of this is not pancreas related...that concerns me greatly.

The PET on Thursday will reveal if there are more areas. The tissue sample will tell the exact cancer. He said he was sorry and gave me a hug. My hubby is a basket case. I keep trying to tell him to be strong. We need to enjoy each day.
I am bringing out the Juicer - do you hear that Juice Chick Emily.

Don't give up hope. Glad you had some good news in there. There are situations where they can slow down any growth of the cancer. That gives technology a chance to catch up to us if you know what I mean. I know it's not the news you wanted to hear from your doctor, I'd be less than happy to say the least.
But you CAN get through this...

We are calming down some today. Although I do feel this is the time to make some preparations. It doesn't hurt even if I do not need them as soon as I think. It gives me a good feeling to know that I can make these decisions early.
