OT - How do you change your picture?
I'm trying to get a new picture of Glenn up there. He looks pretty different now.
Thanks,
Lisa

Hi Lisa
Here is what I do, I delete the old picture and log off of CSN then I log back in and put the new picture I want and log off again. I then log back in and my old picture is still there for about a half day then my new picture showed up.
Not sure if that is the correct way but it works for me

If this is the case, I would presume that what is happening is that they store your pic address (from your computer) in a db file (either SQL or Oracle, probably), and that the pic doesn't change until they update the database and move your new pic from some sort of temp file to your main user file.
I have not changed mine in forever, but will check it out.
Take care,

I could not figure out the reason but that does help to explain it.
Thanks

And after uploading the new one, the old pic still showed in my "edit profile" page. What I was seeing, however, was the version of the page in my cache, saved before the change. If you just hit "reload" after you upload your new pic, you should see the new pic. I did, anyhow.
Fwiw, ymmv.

Size Matters
You also need to make sure it's sized no larger than the CSN requirment of a maximum 150 x 150 pixels.
This can be done on most any photo editor.
I always try to crop my photos square first, then reduce the size to 150 x 150. Resizing it to 150 x 150, allows you to get the maximum space for your avatar.
Delete the old, upload the new and REFRESH your screen.
