Dad's 2 treatment and funny story
Now the funny story. It seems like when dad goes for treatment of a docotors appointment something happens. One time when we came out from getting chemo the whole front bumper was knocked off his car and there was a note that said "sorry, I touched your car". Then another time when I drove we were getting ready to leave both of the brake lines on my car broke before we even left the parking lot. The mechanic said he has never seen two steal brake lines break at the same time. Then on the way home from a check up electrical lines fell down accross dad's car and got stuck around the license plate. We waited for over an hour and we were only about 5 minutes from the house. This all happened the first time he had treatment.
Last Friday when had not been home very long when an ambulance, firetruck ans several cop cars flew down my road. There was a teenager two house down the road threatening his parents with a gun. This inncident went on for hours, finaly they left and the boy was taken away. Then yesterday on the way home we got stuck in traffic close to our house. Come to find out the bank had just been robbed an the guy shot over 30 rounds at police. The got away. Thank goodness nobody was hurt. They still have not found him and there were sighting late last night no far from my house. I don't know what the excitement will be next Friday.
Prayers to everyone,
Kathy

Sounds to me like one of those cosmic-vibe things going on: your Dad has to go thru another round of tx, is a bit angry about it all, and chaos unfolds all around you! Thing is- what's he got against your car? Sure, the miles are adding-up, and there's the regular maintenance that includes the cost of gas nowadays, but tell him to lighten-up on the mode of transportation. And just between you and me- that guy who robbed the bank and is still on the lamb- worst thing he could do to himself is cross paths with your Dad, or harm a hair on your head.
Hope and Pray he gets a Positive result with this treatment, Kathy.

Hi Kathy
Well all I can say is that God is keeping watch over you both. Glad you were not in the car when the bumper got knocked off or got into a wreck when the brake lines failed. A lot of things happen every day but God is watching from above to keep his children from them.
God bless and keep you both in His care

Puma,
I have been off the boards for a while and did not know your dad had recurrence. I am soooo sorry to hear that. How are you all doing??? I agree with Kent, something in the cosmos is stirred up regarding your dad. Weird.
Hugs, hugs, hugs,
