Take a deep breath and then exhale.
Sounds like something we would all love to know is true, Karen.
Hoping the infection clears quickly and completely and the CT scan is clean.

Hi Karen
I might have the same problem as all my PET scan light up and area that the doctors keep calling cancer for the passed 6 years and yet I am still alive and doing well. This last PET I did a few months ago at MD Anderson finally said looks more like inflammation. Ha ha that is what I been telling them for years.

Karen: Sounds like a tiny bit of good news (finally !) for you and Buzz. I am hoping all that they are seeing proves to be a nasty infection and that Buzz can kick it quickly and soon start to feel better.0 -

I sure hope that it's just because of the infection! That would be such a relief. My 44th b'day will be on 11/22, I am hoping it will be a lucky day for you guys!0 -

I sure hope it's just an infection. Have they done a biopsy? I will be praying for you both.0 -
INFECTION
I just had a scare with some swollen tissue in the gum area near my tonsillectomy. After a scan and biopsy, it was dignosed as "chronic yeast." I had Thrush 3 times during treatment, and the doc now suspects it never was completely treated and laid deep in my tissue.
So I would say anything is possible.
Good luck.

What are they giving you to clear it up, anything? I still suspect I have a lot of yeast still growing in me that is causing a whole lot of my problems.
Thanks

That would be great news!!!! I'm praying that it's just a nasty old infection. Can they do an MRI to look at that area better?0 -

My husband went through treatment the same time as Buzz did and we are both praying for both of you that it is an infection that they can get cleared up.
Hugs to you both.
