I love this broth. Either write Magic Mineral Broth in you search engine or Rebecca Katz. The recipe is on her site. Very informative site. I am going to see her on October 22. She is my favorite Cancer Chef. If you cannot find the seaweed, the broth is good without it. My daughter and my sister have found it at Whole foods, they are my supply. Besides the broth, once you can eat it can be your basic broth for soup, brown rice, risotto.0 -

There are a lot of minerals and vitamins in seaweed that are extremely good for your body. In Honduras we gather the seaweed every year and put it on the Fruit trees on my brother farm. The trees with the seaweed always have the sweetest and biggest fruit on the farm and all the other trees are just normal.

I agree with you Hondo. In the town I live in I could not find it and I didn't want to wait to make it until I could got to Fresno or the San Francisco area. The broth is loaded with vitamins and minerals. Aroma makes you want to eat and so nutritious. Rebecca Katz has a wonderful way with her recipes, her desire is for us to be able to enjoy what we eat. She is my favorite cancer chef and I get to see her on October 22! Yum!0 -

I have used Kombu before in dried beans. It really adds flavor. I still have some in my pantry so I am going to brew a big pot today.

It is true that the seaweed and the garnet yam can be hard to find here. You might be able to mail order it or look into a substitution if you cannot find it. Also, I'd really recommend a traditional broth, too if you are not vegetarians. I just read a couple articles about how good a bone stock is for cancer patients and for people recovering from when they have lost a lot of weight. Also, for us folks that cannot eat and swallow meat it's like liquid gold. I have stocks in my freezer at all times. Chicken, beef, lamb and vegetable. So even if you cannot find the exact ingredients for the magic mineral, I encourage you to make a stock anyway. I read last night that adding a bit of vinegar (like cider or white or red wine vinegar) will help draw out extra vitamins and minerals from the bones if you are making chicken or beef stock.
Here's some broth links:
BENEFITS OF BONE BROTH
BONE BROTH FOR HEALTH BUILDING. Collagen is essential for- Soft tissue and wound healing. Formation and repair of cartilage and bone.
Healing and coating the mucus membranes of the gastrointestinal tract. Aids in cases of weight loss from cancer.
