Let the healing begin!
Hi Jim,
You have a great attitude which I'm sure will speed your recovery right along. Take each day one at a time and allow your body to adjust to everything it's been through. You are going to do fine! Take care and best wishes...Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)0 -
Glad to hear it Jimallmost60 said:Let the healing begin!

What a grief relief to have this all over with. Hope you continue to post or if not come back and let us know how you are doing from time to time.
All the best Jim.

Poem for Jim
Hey Jim;
I found this poem and thought about you...
written by Praveen;
i remember the days
when my mind used to be
overrun with emotions and thoughts
of all things good and the worst;
as time went by,
with each new day,
and with a brand new life to look forward to,
my mind emptied itself in a flash, just like that;
with a cup of coffee in hand,
i sit back and think about the yesteryears,
smiling at the change that has taken over me
and the life that i have been blessed with now;
strolling down the memory lane,
unafraid of the future,
blinded by the ecstasy of living
eventually, with eyes wide open,
i’ve come to understand, that
some things, including life, change for the better;
Take care of yourself Jim....xoxo
Sincerely,

Hooray!
So happy for you Jim! Made it around another corner on this wild ride. I hope you find strength and happiness in your new normal. We're here for you when those "other" moments creep up. Don't forget to keep taking care of yourself, you have been through one hell of a battle. Keep up the good spirit!

Thanks everyone!
Thank you guys so much!
Liz, Thanks for the poem - I like it.
BlueRose, I don't plan on disappearing anytime soon though
I may take a break at some point down the road.
Who knows what the "new normal" will bring and I'm sure
there may be some bumps down the road. I want to give back
to this group as much as I can and still have lots to learn
from everyone.
Besides, who else is going to appreciate and laugh at the silly
videos I find like "Chemo Boy" ?
Thanks again so much you guys!
Oh, I think I just grew an eyelash....
Hugs,

Thank you, Liz for sharing the beautiful poem. I was just telling Sue about my birthday last month that I felt like I am one year old now that I have survived through the first year of treatments! Feel good living.
My name is also Liz - nice to see that name, ha!
Positive thoughts,
Liz0
