Bill went to be with Jesus today (from Kateel)

Dear faraway friends,

Bill passed away this afternoon after a 38 day battle from his severe stroke. He went peacefully and I know that he is in heaven now. No question about that. As his last act of love, he donated his body to medical science for research. He gave to others to the very end. I'm not sure of my plans. I'm still in shock over all of this. He was my soulmate and I miss him so much.

    Hi Kateel,
    I've been wondering about you for the last few days. I'm so saddened by your news. My husband also had a stroke, but he has been lucky enough to make a pretty decent recovery from that and now faces this awful cancer. Eric is right. Bill is in a better place and free from pain with the Lord. I will pray that your wonderful memories will bring you some comfort.

    I am very sorry that Bill has left us. I chose to believe that he is in a better place where his pain and struggle is behind him.

    I know you would have liked to speak to him one more time before he left, but I am sure he knew you were there with him while he was in the hospital and gave him great comfort during his final days here.

    I am sure he is looking down at you with love.

    May God welcome Bill into his loving arms and provide you peace during this difficult time.

    I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Your sense of loss must be great. I'm sure that Bill was aware of your presence at his side always and felt your love. Soulmates have that connection.

    I'm certain that God welcomed Bill and has provided well for him in heaven. I hope that time and knowledge of the end of Bill's pain will bring you peace.

    We may be faraway friends, but you are close to our hearts. Please accept my condolences. I am very saddened to hear of Bill's passing. You did make the right choice, however, and there is no pain and suffering where he is now.

    While we may be faraway friends, we have all come together as a close family in our fight against esophageal cancer. As such, it is heart-breaking to lose one of our own. You both fought a well fought battle. May you find comfort in knowing your husband is no longer in pain and is in the presence of The Eternal Comforter. Prayers of strength for you and your family.     Dear Kateel,
    So very sorry to hear of Bill's passing and will be keeping you and your family in my prayers and thoughts. So hard to lose your best friend for so many years. Hope God gives you some peace knowing that Bill is not suffering anymore.

    It is with great sadness that I read of Bill's passing. May you find comfort in knowing that you did all that you could for him and that his suffering is over.
