Dear Winter Marie
Thank you so much for remembering me and my mum.
After the whole week of running around, talking to different doctors and seeking 2nd, 3rd, 4th opinion, my mum decided to continue chemo treatment. She has tried all the available drugs already and her existing onc suggested to go back to Oxaliplatin plus avastin. Another onc suggested to change her target therapy from Avastin to Erbitux even though mum is a KRAS mutant. He strongly believes it will do better than avastin now.
Option 1 Oxaliplatin + Avastin
Option 2 Oxaliplatin + Erbitux
At the moment we are aiming at prolong survival with minimal chemo side effects. We will also actively looking for a good TCM practitioner to help with the chemo treatments and in any case if no chemo anymore, she can rely on this trustworthy TCM practitioner.
My heart is still aching and I'm still very sad and depressed though. I know I should treasure every moment I have with her but I just don't know how to control my mood and don't know what shall I do to make her happy. I know she has been worrying about me, she keeps asking me to take a rest and not to worry.
Please continue to pray for her, for her strength, for the effectiveness of the drugs.
Thanks again for your care!

You are going to be suffering from mood swings to be sure, and please try and do as your mother asks and get some rest, you'll plain wear yourself out if you don't.
Prayers shall be continued and our thoughts are with you and your mum.

Thank you so much for your care!!! I am trying very hard to take care of myself and my mum at the same time. I set myself a mission to stay happy everyday. I will review my 'performance' every night and ask myself if I have done anything fun, great, constructive with mum today, or I'm just being too sad to do anything positive. I want to live everyday happily with mum from now on!
Thanks a lot again for your prayer, wish you all the best and great health!
