My dad passed :(

My dad passed away monday 9/12 in his home surrounded by his loving children. He was so brave and strong! He did everything the doctors threw at him; surgery, radiation, chemo, ports, stents, ablations, clinical trials, and multiple procedures, you name it he did and all with a smile on his face! Unfortunately he was not strong enough, and God wanted him for some reason. I feel so devestated beyond belief, I do not know how I will ever get through this. I miss him so much

Sincere Condolences
Sarah,
I am so sorry that your Dad lost his fight with this disease. If it is any comfort you will always have your fond memories of your Dad and treasure them always.
Your strength will carry you through this as it has through his illness.
I will keep you and your family in my thoughts.0 -

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad, Sarah. Please forgive me, I just replied to another post of yours before reading this and stupidly wished you, and him, good wishes. I'm very sorry for your loss. By the way you describe him, your dad fought a brave fight.

Condolences
Dear Sarah,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. I have been following your comments on the Liver Discussion Board, and I am shocked to hear that he lost his courageous fight against this devastating disease. I know he tried with all his might to stay with you and all his loved ones. My heart goes out to you and I will say a special prayer to the angels above for his peace and eternal rest. I know you will be greiving him for quite a while, but try to keep the good times and memories in the forefront and try to erase these last few months, because this horrible time was not the whole of his life. Someday you will be together again, but till then peace be with you.

Honoring your dad
Sarah - Thank you for letting us all know about your dad's passing. I am glad for you and him both that his children were there, however difficult that must have been for you. From what you've written before your dad was strong enough for just about anything this fight would have thrown at him, but our bodies can only take so much. God loves him more than even you do, hard as that might be to believe at this point, and I pray that knowledge (that he is with the Father who loves him infinitely) will be of comfort to you. Please keep posting if you are up to it as you get through these first weeks.0
